Tips for Better Results

  • If a word has no results, try a simpler root form (remove -syon, -man endings).
  • Haitian Creole does not use accents consistently: try both accented and unaccented versions.
  • Use English or French to look up a Creole word you don’t know yet.
  • The dictionary is updated weekly: check back for new entries.
  • Entries are listed in lowercase: search in lowercase for best results.

If you’re not sure of the spelling, use the A–Z letter links to browse all entries starting with that letter.
